According to the results of 2015, the gross grain harvest in the Altai Territory amounted to 4.2 million tons, which is 669 thousand tons more than last year. This is the fourth indicator in Russia.
"The highest result - 170 thousand tons - was obtained in the Rodinsky district," Governor Alexander Karlin said on November 26 at the Day of the Worker of Agriculture and Processing Industry.
The average yield of sugar beet in the region was 364 centners per hectare.
