At the initiative of the Rosselkhoznadzor, as part of activities to promote Russian grain and its products on the international market, a group of specialists from the Main State Administration for Quality Control, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China visited the Novosibirsk Region.
The purpose of the visit of the Chinese delegation is to assess phytosanitary risks when exporting from Russia oats, buckwheat, flax and sunflower seeds produced by agricultural enterprises in the Novosibirsk region.
As part of the visit program of the Chinese delegation, on December 03, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Agriculture of the Novosibirsk Region with the participation of representatives of the Office of the Rosselkhoznadzor for the Novosibirsk Region and the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Novosibirsk MVL".
During the visit, representatives of the Chinese side also got acquainted with the work of some enterprises of the Cherepanovsky district engaged in the cultivation, storage and processing of plant products.
Significant interest on the part of the Chinese delegates was shown during a visit on December 04, 2015 to the reference center of Rosselkhoznadzor — FSBI "Novosibirsk MVL". The members of the delegation were presented with its general structure. In addition, V.V. Larin, director of the Novosibirsk MVL Federal State Budgetary Institution, announced that since 2014, the only laboratory beyond the Urals has been accredited in the international system - in the European DANAK system.
The Chinese delegates were informed that the reference center of Rosselkhoznadzor has a special accreditation for assessing the quality of grain, including when performing export operations. During the acquaintance with the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Novosibirsk MVL", the work of the departments of the phytosanitary block was presented, and a meeting was held with the leadership of the Office of the Rosselkhoznadzor for the Novosibirsk region to sum up the preliminary results of the visit of the Chinese delegation to the Novosibirsk region.
