Ilkovsky: We will grow soybeans and rapeseed in Transbaikalia

Governor of the Trans-Baikal Territory Konstantin Ilkovsky said that it is planned to grow soybeans and rapeseed in the Trans-Baikal Territory

According to him, today the so-called handicraft production is developing in Transbaikalia, which has nothing to do with agricultural production.

However, the federal center does not allocate funds for high-tech production in the region.

“We need to focus on crop production. We will grow soybeans and rapeseed in the region,” the governor said.

According to him, in Transbaikalia today people who do not understand anything in it are engaged in agriculture, which is why only subsidiary farming is developing. Whereas modern conditions require new technologies and new approaches for high-tech production.
