Funding under the new concessional lending mechanism began to develop rapidly after the conclusion of an agreement between the Ministry of Agriculture and banks.

The new program began to work in 2017. At the end of January, the first banks entered into an agreement with the Ministry of Agriculture on lending to the agro-industrial complex at 5% rates. Rosselkhozbank, Sberbank and Alfa-Bank were the very first to start working with the program.

According to representatives of the Novosibirsk regional branch of Rosselkhozbank JSC, the leading enterprises of the region's agro-industrial complex have already received preferential loans in the Novosibirsk region. The total amount of loan agreements concluded reached RUB 300 million. The branch accepts applications from agricultural producers in the region - large and medium-sized enterprises, as well as farms in the region will receive loans.

According to the press service of the bank, at present it ensures the most prompt acceptance of applications from farmers, the formation of registers of potential borrowers and the coordination of projects with the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia. In general, under the new mechanism, Rosselkhozbank provided financing of about 3 billion rubles.
