Vostochno-Sibirsky Pig Complex plans to increase its capacity
Issues of state support for East Siberian Pig Complex JSC were considered in the People's Khural of the Republic of Buryatia. At the meeting, an investment project was presented to increase the capacity of agricultural production and an assessment was made of the effectiveness of state support.
Also on the same day, the deputies of the People's Khural of the republic went on a working visit to an agricultural enterprise in the Zaigraevsky district. During the inspection of the enterprise, officials were told and demonstrated the main technological features of pork production. The deputies also got acquainted with the working conditions of the pig farm team, the work of the slaughterhouse, etc.
Let us recall that the investment project of Vostochno-Sibirsky Pig Farm JSC has been implemented in the Republic of Buryatia since 2010. An investment agreement was signed as part of the project. Currently, tax benefits are provided under this agreement.
Currently, the complex contains about 70 thousand heads, and the production capacity of the pig complex is 12.9 thousand tons of pork live weight per year. The company employs 531 people, with an average salary of 28 thousand rubles. a month. Since the beginning of the project, 360.4 million rubles of taxes have been paid to the budgets of all levels, including 51 million rubles to the republican budget, 21 million rubles to the municipal budget.
During the meeting, the results of the implementation of the investment project were discussed. In particular, the results achieved and further prospects for expanding production capacities and purchasing local grain.
Note that the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Buryatia, together with the management of JSC East Siberian Pig Complex, worked out the possibility of increasing the complex's capacity by 50%.
