The construction of two large livestock complexes in the Kemerovo region in 2-3 years will lead to an inevitable increase in the consumption of feed grain by one and a half times - from 600 to 900 thousand tons, Deputy Governor of the region Ilya Seredyuk told reporters.
“If you count, then only the agricultural complex (the livestock breeding complex Ariant-Sibir — IF under construction) in the south of the Kemerovo region will be able to consume up to 200,000 feed grains per year,” said I. Seredyuk.
At the same time, according to him, in order to increase the grain yield, it is necessary, on the one hand, to increase their productivity, and on the other hand, to use empty farmland for crops, of which there are currently more than 200 thousand hectares.
